The Goochland County Mountain Bike Team was started in the fall of 2015. The team was formed by avid cyclists who reside in Goochland County and felt kids in grades 4 – 12 would love the option to ride and race bicycles (racing not required to participate) off road. The team is open to all Goochland County kids in grades 4 - 12 who go to public and private schools or are home schooled.

We participate in a spring and fall race series. We encourage kids to race but it is not a requirement. If a child wants to come out and learn some mountain biking skills and practice with us on a regular basis, but not race, they are welcome to do so. Everyone who wants to race can, no one rides the bench everyone contributes to the overall team standings for each race series.
